Originally Tacons for 40 years prior to acquisition by Harwoods of Beccles. See also Colchester Brewing Co. Ltd, Ipswich, who used site as depot until at least 1924.

Ceased 1887. Possibly succeeded by Benjamin Ward and then by Loftus Lambert.
