Hall & Woodhouse Ltd , Badger Brewery, Blandford St Mary, Dorset.
Founded 1777 at Badger Brewery, Ansty, Dorset Ansty and acquired Neame & Trew (late John Hector) of Blandford St Mary in 1883 with 12 houses. Operated both sites until the new brewery at Blandford was built in 1900. Following this, the Ansty Brewery was closed.
Registered on 8th June 1898 to acquire Hall & Woodhouse Ltd of Ansty and Blandford and Godwin Brothers, Durweston, total of 105 houses.
A new brewery has been built at Blandford 300 metres across from the old one which will be redeveloped.
Still independent, trading as the Badger Brewery.
