Hyde's Brewery Ltd

Founded by Alfred Hyde in about 1863.

Originally at the Crown Brewery, Audenshaw; they moved to the Victoria Brewery, Lower Moss Lane in 1870 followed by the Mayfield Street Brewery, Ardwick in 1882 and the Monmouth Street Brewery, Rusholme in 1887.

They moved to the Queen's Brewery, Moss Lane West, in July 1899 formerly occupied by Greatorex Brothers.

Registered in December 1912 as Hyde's Queen's Brewery Ltd. and the name was change as above in 1944.

In 2012, they left Moss Lane and created a new brewery near to Media City in Salford.

Still independent.
