Mann, Crossman & Paulin Ltd, Whitechapel Road London E1.
Albion Brewery built 1808.
Became Blake & Mann in June 1819 and James Mann was in control in 1826. Crossman and Paulin became partners in 1846. Also at the Albion Brewery, Burton-on-Trent 1875-1896. Registered October 1901.
Merged with Watney, Combe, Reid & Co. Ltd. 1958 to form Watney Mann Ltd. Albion Brewery closed 1979.
Parts remain standing.
Mann, Crossman & Paulin Ltd, Albion Brewery, Shobnall Road, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
Brewery built 1875 by Mann, Crossman & Paulin and used by them until 1896. Albion Brewery (Burton-on-Trent) Ltd. registered March 1896 with 8 tied houses, a further 127 being acquired from the Gresley Brewery and Burton and Lincoln Breweries. In 1897 all the public houses were leased to Thomas Salt & Co. Ltd. and in 1898 55 houses were acquired which were later leased to Ind Coope Ltd. and others.
Brewery leased to J.Marston, Thompson & Co. Ltd. in 1898 and sold to them in 1902.
