James Paine Brewery Ltd, John Bull Brewery, Market Square, St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Founded 1831 when James Paine acquired the brewery site. Registered as Paine & Co. Ltd. July 1896. Destroyed by fire 19th October 1905 but rebuilt following year.
Acquired by a group of travel agents 1982 and renamed as above.
The brewery and about 24 tied houses were acquired by Tollemache Breweries Ltd in 1987 and brewing ceased.
