Ind Coope Ltd - Station Street, Burton-upon-Trent and Star Brewery, Romford Coedway, B4393 Old Hand & Diamond The iron hanging sign features a diamond with an Ind Coope 'hand' in the centre. Whitbread - the national brewery conglemerate Llangurig, A44 Black Lion Hotel A modern rectangular projecting sign with 'WELSH BITTER' and an illustration of a Welsh Bitter counter font. Also a modern oval Bass plaque on the frontage, next to the bar entrance. There is a large stone panel on the front elevation at first floor level, dated 1888, and including the initials of the original developer. BHK photo 2010 Picture
