George Gale & Co Ltd Horndean Barnham, Yapton Road Murrell Arms Modern Gale's signs including applied wall lettering, a lantern, and the brewery trademark in the ironwork above the hanging sign. The pub also features a Henty & Constable plaque (qv), and the interior is full of their memorabilia. The Gale's signs had been replaced by Fuller's branding by 2009. Kemp Town Brewery Ltd Brighton Burgess Hill, 251 London Road Brewers Arms Three central windows on the front elevation: on the tympanum above these are two examples of a 'KTB' monogram and the date 1928. On the two rainwater heads: 'KTB 1928'. Also one of the round globe lanterns above the doors featured 'CHARRINGTON' lettering, but this lantern had been removed by 2015. Rock Brewery Ltd Brighton Horsham, 38 East Street Horse & Groom (renamed Brewhouse & Kitchen) High on the west wall, a fading painted sign, white letters at an angle on a red background. On the back wall, is another painted sign. Both signs say: 'BRIGHTON ... ROCK ALES'. The sign on the back wall was formerly obscured by a modern board sign, and the lettering on this has been restored since 2017, with the reopening of the pub as a 'Brewhouse & Kitchen'. One large 'K&B' lantern above the front door. The front and side elevations feature signs advertising the brewery and 'FINE SUSSEX ALES'. Tamplin & Sons Brewery Ltd Brighton Southwick, 9 Southwick Street Ship Inn On the side elevation (The Twitten), a leaded window with orange central lettering: 'TAMPLINS ALES'. The interior was remodelled by Watneys in 1963 and much of it survives. The top pieces to the bar-backs have cut-out lettering from the refurbishment: 'WATNEYS … (Red Barrel illustration) ... The 'no liability' sign in the car park has 'IND COOPE FRIARY MEUX'. Kemp Town Brewery Ltd Brighton West Worthing, 1 Tarring Road Downview Hotel (former) A large Victorian hotel close to West Worthing Station. Kemp Town Brewery added features in 1928. Facing Downview Road, a rear extension features two carved stone panels with monogram 'KTB' and the date 1928. On the same elevation at first floor level are two large roundels with the letters 'KTB'; paint is flaking from both, but they are still legible. Kemp Town Brewery Ltd Brighton Worthing, 32 Brighton Road Egremont Hotel The Egremont Hotel was built in 1836. Following the acquisition of Harry Chapman's Tower Brewery at the rear (still standing), Kemp Town Brewery remodelled the building. The pub, recently restored, is richly decorated with Kemp Town features, including: (1) five pairs of KTB leaded windows with various illustrated leaded panels; (2) two 'dolphin' windows at the rear; (3) 'dolphins' and/or 'KTB' monograms carved in the timber work over three doors - inside and out; (4) 'dolphin' logos at high level on the front elevation; (5) a beautifully restored painted fascia, with a strap of dolphins above, and lettering: 'EGREMONT WINE STORES ... DOLPHIN ALES ... KEMPTOWN BREWERY ... THE EGREMEONT (corner) ... KEMPTOWN BREWERY ... ALES & STOUT ... THE EGREMEONT'. Additonally, a rear door features painted lettering: 'THE OLD BREWERY ...
