Mitchells & Butlers Ltd Smethwick Bewdley, 76 Welch Gate Woodcolliers Arms (closed) The door to the front bar has etched glass with 'SMOKE ROOM', 'REGD TRADE MARK' and "DEER'S LEAP" in a roundel with a 'deer leaping' trademark illustration in the middle. Inside, the door between the front and rear bars has etched glass with 'MITCHELLS & BUTLERS LTD' with a crown in the centre. The pub closed in 2016 and was converted to residential. Over the side door facing Welch Gate, a small plate with: 'ROBERT ALLEN AND Co Ltd' - but this may be a later addition. SP photo 2006; MBr photo 2020 Picture
