Phillips & Marriott Ltd - Midland Brewery, Much Park Street, Coventry Atherstone, Long Street White Horse Two sets of etched windows - 'PHILLIPS & MARRIOTT'S COVENTRY ALES & STOUTS' in the centre panels, with the 'star' trade mark including the lettering 'GENUINE' in a star shape in the two outer panels. By 2007, one of the Phillips & Marriott windows had been replaced by a modern window after damage. (Also two M&B 'deer leaping' lanterns and an opening hours box.) TN 2003; SP photo 2007 Picture

Courage Ltd - London, Bristol, etc Nuneaton (Whitestone), Meadowside Hayrick A late example of a Courage-built estate pub, well-outside its historical trading region. The pole sign isn't the original one, but has 'COURAGE' lettering and a gold cockerel above. SP photo 2007 Picture
