Mitchells & Butlers Ltd Smethwick Colwyn Bay, 1 Station Road Station (formerly Central Hotel) On the Station Road elevation, a ground floor bay window features two etched panes with an 'M&B Ltd' monogram. Facing Conway Road, a small first floor leaded window features an 'MB' monogram in a shield - arranged to view from inside. Internally, on the back wall of the bar, six high-level leaded windows with 'M&B Ld' monograms in a shield. TB photo 2010; SP photo 2018 Picture

Bass, Ratcliffe & Gretton Ltd Burton-upon-Trent Colwyn Bay, 1 Station Road Station (formerly Central Hotel) Until 2015, this pub had a fine array of windows featuring decorative etched lower panes, and upper leaded panes (about 15 of them) featuring 'Bass' and the brewery's triangle trademark within shields. All of these were replaced by modern windows with clear glazing by 2016. In a ground floor bay on the Station Road frontage, there is a surviving etched window with a triangle containing a 'C' (for 'Central'?). Ansells Brewery Ltd Birmingham Conwy, 6 Uppergate Street Albion A set of relatively modern Ansell signs: letter sign with squirrel; lanterns; projecting sign; board signs. The lanterns were Ind Coope and the Ansell's glass was applied later. The pub is on CAMRA's National Inventory. WRB photo 2006; MPo 2010 Picture

Ansells Brewery Ltd Birmingham Conwy, 8 Church Street Royal British Legion Club An oval Ansell's projecting sign of the "old" style. The top half has 'Ansells' in orange script with the squirrel trademark above. There is also a board sign on the wall with 'ANSELLS BITTER' and 'WREXHAM LAGER'. WRB photo 2006; AH photo 2010 Picture
