The Bass signage had been removed by 2012. SP 2010; Google 2012 .

Newcastle Breweries Ltd Newcastle-upon-Tyne Gateshead - Bensham, 275 Bensham Road Whickham House Corner of Rawling Road. On the rear gable wall is a projecting roundel with 'NEWCASTLE BREWERIES' around a central blue (neon illuminated?) star. Google indicates that this device was previously mounted on the splay above the corner door of the pub: but at this position in 2016 is a brand new neon-illuminated blue star. On the Bensham Road frontage, there is also a hanging sign comprised of a Newcastle Breweries' star. DT photo 2016; Google 2014-2016 Picture

The Visitor Centre featured wall tiling with a brown ale bottle. By 2010, the brewery was almost entirely demolished: the only identification surviving was one set of gates retaining the 'star' logo.
