Lorimer & Clark - Edinburgh (brewery still operates as Caledonian) Edinburgh Berwick-upon-Tweed, 75 Castlegate Free Trade On the right-hand side of the front doorway, a small barrel-shaped metal plaque: 'CASK CONDITIONED - LORIMER'S ALE - ENDORSED BY CAMRA' with a 'wheatsheaf' illustration. Quite modern: dates from Vaux's ownership of the Lorimer brewery. Google indicates that the plaque was removed between 2008 and 2015. The pub is on CAMRA's National Inventory of historic interiors. Newcastle Breweries Ltd Newcastle-upon-Tyne Blyth, 91 Bridge Street Oddfellows Arms High on the corner gable (corner of Tate Street) was a Newcastle Breweries blue star, probably with neon illumination. The pub also had fading Newcastle Brewery board signs. These are visible on Google in 2009, but all had been removed by 2016. RWo 2009; Google 2009 and 2016 .
