Birkenhead Brewery Co Ltd Birkenhead Birkenhead - Tranmere, 228 New Chester Road Lord Raglan Hotel (former) Converted to a restaurant by 2018. On the front elevation at first floor level, a large panel with an elaborate brewery logo, including 'BIRKENHEAD BREWERY COMPANY LIMITED', 'PEERLESS ALES & STOUT' and 'TRADE MARK', topped by a liver bird standing on a cask. On each elevation, there is also a large panel with 'LORD RAGLAN HOTEL' in raised lettering. MD photo 2005; Google 2018 Picture

Higson's Brewery Ltd Liverpool Birkenhead, 103 Oxton Road Vale A Victorian corner pub with a relatively modern Higson's livery. Fascia board signs with 'HIGSONS'; the hanging sign features 'HIGSON'S in the top-piece, and a liver bird holding a hop-leaf. BHK photo 2008 Picture

Daniel Higson Liverpool Birkenhead, 128 Conway Street Crown Interior. The bar has a spectacular bar-back; from the side wall and along the bar-back is a glazed fascia, gold coloured with elaborate decoration and black lettering: 'D.HIGSON. WINE MERCHANT & SPIRIT MERCHANT. BREWER. CHEAPSIDE BREWERY. LIVERPOOL'. In CAMRA's list of historic pub interiors. SP 2008 .

Threlfall's Brewery Co Ltd - Liverpool & Salford Birkenhead, 26 Market Street Market Inn (former) The interwar faience frontage features tiled lettering 'THRELFALLS' above the second floor windows. Wilson's Brewery Ltd Manchester Birkenhead, 36 Oliver Street East Firemans Arms A Victorian corner pub. Applied 'WILSONS' lettering to the fascia and to the back wall, and a Wilson's hanging sign and lantern. Also an internal etched window with 'WILSONS' above a chequerboard image. Threlfall's Brewery Co Ltd Salford Birkenhead, 41 Price Street Stork Hotel There are two etched windows on the front with 'THRELFALL'S SALFORD ALES'. On CAMRA's National Inventory. According to the Tile & Architectural Ceramics Society, the fabulous tiled frontage was probably installed by the Birkenhead Brewery Co in about 1903; they say that the tiles were fixed by George Swift and may have been made at his Swan Tile Works, Liverpool. Birkenhead Brewery Co Ltd Birkenhead Birkenhead, 55 Duke Street Grand Trunk Hotel (former) Following its closure as a pub, by 2012 original raised fascia lettering was revealed along two elevations: 'GRAND TRUNK HOTEL ... BIRKENHEAD BREWERY CO LTD'. The former 'Peerless Ales' lettering on the third elevarion has disappeared. At high level on the front elevation, a round plaque with 'BIRKENHEAD ALES' and an illustration of a liver bird on a cask - all in relief. Birkenhead Brewery Co Ltd Birkenhead Birkenhead, Hamilton Street Pier Hotel (former) Has a very attractive corner frontage of green faience. Around the fascia: 'BIRKENHEAD ALES & STOUT ... PIER HOTEL ... BIRKENHEAD BREWERY Co Ltd ... PIER HOTEL ... WINES & SPIRITS'. On the corner splay, a tiled panel with elaborate brewery logo, including 'BIRKENHEAD BREWERY COMPANY LIMITED', 'PEERLESS ALES & STOUT', a liver bird standing on a barrel and 'TRADE MARK'. Bass, Ratcliffe & Gretton Ltd Burton-upon-Trent New Brighton, Magazine Brow Magazine Each side of the front door is a glazed plaque with the red triangle logo, 'DRAUGHT BASS' and 'TRADE MARK'. Threlfall's Brewery Co Ltd - Liverpool & Salford Rock Ferry, 379 New Chester Road Star Hotel (former) Good beige and dark green faience frontage with tiled fascia lettering: two examples of 'THRELFALL'S'. The former lettering 'STAR HOTEL' and 'BLUE LABEL' has been chipped off, but is still visible. The porch has a fine mosaic floor with a large image of a star enclosing lettering: 'STAR ...
