BURTON-ON-TRENT'; and a red triangle. The hanging sign was removed by 2016, when the pub was converted to other uses. BHK 2012; Google 2016 .

Richard Barker & Co Huyton Wigan - Centre, 14 Market Street Crofters Arms (former) Closed as a pub for many years, this is now a restaurant. Superb exterior with red glazed bricks, above which is a mosaic fascia with maroon lettering on ivory - 'BARKER'S ... CROFTERS ARMS ... CROFTERS ARMS ... BARKER'S HUYTON ALES'. Magee Marshall & Co Ltd Bolton Wigan - Springfield, 168 Gidlow Lane Pagefield Hotel A magnificent building, grade 2 listed, built by Magee Marshall in 1902. Degraded stonework over the door: 'MAGEE MARSHALL & Co ... PAGEFIELD ... HOTEL'. Stone shield at high level with relief lettering: 'MM & Co Ld'. Two rectangular stone panels between ground and first floor windows with relief lettering: 'MM & Co Ld'. A stone panel above the side door with relief lettering: 'MM'. Several leaded windows with painted glass: 'MM & Co LTD'. The pub was closed and shuttered from 2016, but Google shows in previous years that most ground floor windows have original etched glass with 'MM & Co' monograms and in some cases the room names - hidden behind shutters in 2018.
