Wilson's Brewery Ltd Manchester Bredbury, 57 Stockport Road East Rising Sun The pub had a modern looking Wilson's sign on the front, but this has disappeared by 2008. RWo 2006; Google 2008 .

Bell & Co Ltd Stockport Bredbury, 99 Higher Bents Lane Sportsmans Rest (former) 19c pub. On the left-hand painted gable wall were the remains of a large sign, just detectable as raised lettering: 'THE SPORTSMANS REST.' and 'BELLS STOCKPORT ALES.' (Note that full stops included in the sign.) The pub was converted to residential use in about 2011, and Google shows the wall rendered-over by 2017. Hyde's Brewery Ltd Manchester Cheadle, 13 High Street Old Star Inn (renamed) At first floor level above the entrance, a large decorative plaque 'HYDES QUEENS BREWERY ALES'. This relates to Hyde's historic brewery in Manchester. The pub was remodelled and renamed in 2017, at which time historic etched windows at the front were replaced with modern ones. Bell & Co Ltd Stockport Edgeley, 195 Northgate Road Alexandra This CAMRA National Inventory pub was built by Bell's in 1911. Has the date on the exterior, plus 'B' in a decorative terracotta tile. SP photo 2005 and 2006 Picture

Bell & Co Ltd Stockport Hazel Grove, 53 London Road Grove (demolished) CAMRA Opening Times Magazine 2003 describes a mosaic in the porch with 'BELLS'. However, the pub was demolished by 2014. CAMRA 2003; SP 2015 .

Hardy's Crown Brewery Ltd Manchester Heaton Norris, 118 Wellington Road North Hope Inn On the parapet on the front and one side elevation, prominent letter signs: 'HARDYS' ALES' and 'HARDYS' CROWN ALES'. These are in beautiful mosaic tiling; gold letters with white outlining on a blue background. Has become the home of 'Fool Hardy Ales'. SP photo 2005 and 2018 Picture

Wilson's Brewery Ltd Manchester Offerton, 125 Hall Street Victoria Has a carved stone plaque (rather like a milestone) on the frontage: VICTORIA HOTEL ... 1953 ... DRINK ONLY ... THE BEST ... Showell's Stockport Brewery Ltd Stockport Stockport, 74 Churchgate Thatched House (former) It had Showells Ales windows. The pub was closed and boarded up in 2015. By 2018, no longer a pub, and the decorative windows have been replaced with clear glass. JCl 2007; SP 2015; Google 2018 .

Whitbread & Co Ltd London, EC1 Stockport, Cooper Street Royal Oak Brewery (former) The Royal Oak Brewery was acquired by Whitbreads in 1946. During building works in 2012 was revealed an early round wall plaque with the brewery's 'deer' trade mark and the letter 'W' on a tankard, plus lettering: 'THE HOUSE OF WHITBREAD ... 1742'.
