Alfred Crowther & Co Ltd Bury Bury, 2 Bell Lane Old Blue Bell (former) It became a Joseph Holt pub, but by 2014 had been converted to a solicitor's office. On the parapet is a stone panel with date 1899 and an eight-pointed star. Crowther's Star Brewery was located on Brook Street, just to the north of the pub. BHS photo; SP photo 2006 Picture

Bury Brewery Co Ltd Bury Bury, 63 Rochdale Road Robin Hood (former) Closed by Thwaites's Brewery and converted to retail in about 2012. A small stone tablet above the door with flamboyant lettering - possibly 'B B Co'. Lovely raised lettering on the end wall has been removed. Crown Brewing Co Ltd Bury Bury, 87 Crostons Road Dusty Miller (former) It became a Moorhouse's pub, but by 2015 had been converted to a solicitor's office. One surviving etched window with a 'crown' illustration and the pub name. This was one of a pair, but the other was vandalised and has been replaced. SP photo 2005 Picture

Wilson's Brewery Ltd Manchester Bury, Woodhill Road Brown Cow Located in an industrial heritage country park. Mounted on a large board on the roof is a neon sign with script lettering: 'Wilsons Ales'. SP photo 2006 Picture

Richard Seed & Co Ltd Radcliffe Radcliffe, 2 Blackburn Street Boars Head Hotel (former) Converted to residential use. The fascia had faded lettering, possibly former tiled letters chipped off. The pub name over the corner door; and on each side: 'ALES - SEED'S - STOUTS'. By 2012, the lettering had been removed. SP photo 2006; Google 2012 Picture

Massey's Burnley Brewery Ltd Burnley Ramsbottom, 96 Carr Street Rose & Crown A good set of decorative etched windows with 'MBB' monogram - five on the front, three on the side.
