Charrington & Co Ltd Mile End, E1 Bloomsbury, 116 Cromer Street Boot An attractive interwar Charrington's frontage. Three spherical Bass Charrington lanterns below the fascia. At left and right displaying a Bass 'red triangle' motif and the centre one with lettering 'CHARRINGTON'. To right of the entrance, a small oval Charrington's 'Toby' plaque. SP 2014; TrC 2014 .

Charrington & Co Ltd Mile End, E1 Bloomsbury, 11a Northington Street Kings Arms Attractive painted windows in the brewery's colours of orange and green: 'CHARRINGTON' and 'KINGS ARMS'. The upper panels feature small 'Toby' illustrations in green on white. The pub had been renamed 'Lady Ottoline' by 2014 but the Charrington windows survive. WRB photo 2007; SP photo 2014 Picture

Truman Hanbury Buxton & Co Ltd - London & Burton-upon-Trent Bloomsbury, 2 Acton Street Prince Albert (former) By A E Sewell for Trumans, 1922. Corner tiles - gold on grey - on the corner splay above the entrance: '1922 ... TRUMAN HANBURY BUXTON & Co. Ltd.' and 'THE PRINCE ALBERT'. Also fascia tiles with the former pub name. Taylor Walker & Co Ltd Limehouse, E14 Bloomsbury, 27 Museum Street Plough Etched windows with gold lettering 'Taylor Walker'; door glass features similar lettering and the company's 'cannon' trademark. Brass plaque - 'Taylor Walker' with trademark and 'Estd LONDON 1730'. Brass plates on the windowsills. Some of the windows look modern. Watney Combe Reid & Co Ltd - Stag Brewery, Pimlico; and Mortlake Brewery Bloomsbury, 47 Tonbridge Street Dolphin Either side of the door facing Bidborough Street, a pictorial tiled sign. On the left, 'REIDS STOUT' and an image of a griffin. On the right, 'WATNEYS ALES' and a stag image. Brackets for hanging baskets have been added to the top of each panel. Hoare & Co Ltd London, E1 Covent Garden, 14 New Row White Swan Interior. It was converted to an 'Irish' bar - O'Neill's - but inside it retained its original 'Hoare & Co's Celebrated Imperial Stout & Sparkling Ales' mirror. DK 2003 .

Meux's Brewery Co Ltd - Horseshoe Breweries: London WC1 and SW8 Covent Garden, 90 St Martins Lane Salisbury This famous 'gin palace' style pub has a large clock outside which features 'MEUX'S' and the Meux Brewery horseshoe logo on all three faces, although two are fading. Whitbread & Co Ltd London, EC1 Leicester Square, 17-21 Leicester Square Samuel Whitbread (former) Built by Whitbreads in 1958. Later it became a 'Burger King'. At high level facing Leicester Square are the remains of a former letter sign 'WHITBREAD'. This incorporated a weather display at one time.
