Sussex East - Lewes, Southover: Verrall's Brewery
Verrall & Sons, Southover, Lewes. Founded in the mid 18c by William Verrall. The brewery and 35 public houses were sold to Page & Overton of Croydon in 1897. The brewery was demolished in 1905.
