Barclay, Perkins & Co Ltd, Anchor Brewery, Park Street, Southwark SE1. Founded in 1616 by James Monger and became Barclay, Perkins in 1781. Registered in June 1896. Merged with Courage & Co Ltd in 1955 to form Courage & Barclay Ltd. Brewing other than lager ceased in 1958 and all brewing ceased in the 1970s. Site now redeveloped for housing.
