Wickham Brewery Co. Ltd, The Square, Wickham. James Smith was listed here from 1847, Joab Hammond from 1855 and Hammond & Sons from 1891. A new brewery was built in 1887 close to the river. Registered in 1908. Offered for auction on 23 September 1910 with three public houses. Trading ceased when the brewery was sold to Gale & Co Ltd on 25 June 1912. The buildings were redeveloped as Riverside Mews.
