Lion Brewery (Portsmouth) Ltd, 13 London Road, North End. Founded in 1870 by William Stephens as the Myrtle Brewery. Became the Lion Brewery in 1879 when acquired by G H King. Registered in 1902 to acquire the business of King & Co. Acquired by Brickwood & Co Ltd in 1910. The brewery still standing and converted into flats.
