Gloucestershire - Stroud, Painswick Road: Godsell & Sons Ltd - Salmons Spring Brewery
'Century' records:
Thomas Godsell is reported to have converted his flour mill into a brewery in 1850. Registered 1905. Acquired by the Stroud Brewery Co Ltd in 1928. The brewery was demolished in 1936 and a mineral water factory and bottling plant was built on the site. The maltings are still extant.
