Dorset - Gillingham, Matthews & Co, Wyke Brewery
Matthews & Co, Wyke Brewery. Founded 1750. Acquired by Hall & Woodhouse Ltd in 1963 with 61 tied houses and closed. Partly demolished 1985, the remainder converted to multiple residential use in 1988 - this part having been built ca.1860.
