Dorset - Fontmell Magna, A & T Sibeth, Crown Brewery
A & T Sibeth, Crown Brewery. Founded in 1780. Before it was acquired by Sibeth, it was occupied by the Flowers family, an important brewing dynasty. Ceased brewing on 14 December 1904 and was sold with 21 public houses for £25,410, the houses being sold piecemeal to a total of eight local brewers including Hall & Woodhouse Ltd, Baxter & Sons and Marston's Dolphin Brewery Ltd. Still standing, last used as a pottery.
